Growing in Pakistan
Gerbera is a tender perennial native to South Africa that grows best in Pakistan's cool-season window. Sow September to February in plain regions (Punjab, Sindh) for spring and early summer blooms. In cooler hill regions, sow February to April. Gerbera dislikes both extreme cold and intense summer heat — protect from frost and harsh afternoon sun. Use rich, well-drained soil and keep the crown above soil level to prevent rot. Water at the base, not on leaves.
